You can use either. The game supports speech recognition, but keyboard must be used for most of gameplay. Using speech recognition is an optional freeware application obtained from the product forum.

Yes you can. There is an additional application called the ATC-SDK that allows the user to modify every aspect of any sector, but also allow you to create one from scratch as well.

that is, can I create my own map and scenerio…I am taking a radar simulator course and I would like to practice at home as I do in the lab, but hoping to maybe find a program with a similar map as the one in my class. This program seems to be the best and closest to what we are using.
