The oldest model, the model A was sold to the public, however not a whole lot were made only around 83. The Cessna Model A was a 1920s American high-wing four-seat tourer built by the Cessna Aircraft Company, the first in long line of high-wing single-engined monoplanes.
The most common cessna that was first sold is the 140, The Cessna 120 and the Cessna 140 are single engine, two-seat, light general aviation aircraft that were first produced in 1946, just following the end of World War II. Production ended in 1950. Cessna sold 7,664 airplanes in the five years that the aircraft were produced
