The final word is …
The final word is that the city will not close BKL, which is great news for us pilots!! The city is actually planning a future airport improvement project with a completion date around 2030, It is definitely my favorite out of the 4 CLE airports to fly into, everyone there is a great from the controllers to the people who work at OPPS!!
i heard they were …
i heard they were thinking about closing burke lakefront…is that true? I’m from lyndhurst and that’s my dream one day…(get my license and fly into burke)
Thank You! That was …
Thank You! That was a VFR flight, I believe that we were out about 20miles to the East prior practicing landings at Lost Nation Mun KLNN(non controlled airfield)
That was a perfect …
That was a perfect landing! Good Job. Did you fly VFR or IFR, or did you just stay in the pattern?

im 15 also and i flew the 152 last week…fun little airplane
Yea, It’s difficult …
Yea, It’s difficult. I fly a 152 as well; call sign Cessna Eight Niner Two One Zero. Its fun talking on the radio to the tower. I go “Santa Rosa Tower; This is Cessna Eight Niner Two One Zero over Sebastapol requesting full stop landing” and they reply “Cessna Two One Zero left downwind clear to land after takeoff traffic”
Try the Live ATC …
Try the Live ATC and good old Fashion practice dont be afraid to ask to repeat I still do from time to time, and listen to the ATIS if your airport has one it helps w/ understanding transmitions at high speeds that and ask ur CFI when u can just say to ATC “Roger N9459″ instead of the whole litney that the controler uses
What helped me was …
What helped me was Flight Sim 2004 if you follow and Listen to the ATC it makes it alot eaiser to understand also Liveatc.net is a live feed off of Real World ATC It plays off of ITunes or Windows Media and I listen to it in the background usually when Im just on the Comp and it really helps you get use to the speed and the Lingo that ATC uses and expects.
Very nice
I am …
I am 15, and I am just starting to start my PPL in the end of this August. I fly gliders already for 2 years, it is just amazing. I wonder, is it only me that it’s hard to remember all they tell you in the radio and repeat and understanding it all, or it’s you too? If it’s you too how did you come over it? I will be very happy if you’ll PM me
Very nice
