Whats the requirement to work for Qantas Airlines (as a pilot)?

Hi guys I’m here in America doing my flight training but I’ve been thinking that I don’t want to work for American Airlines and I just took my Private/Instrument FAA and I dont work for American airlines. What is the requirements for Qantas Airlines?

I plan on after I leave school to go to flying school, so how long would it take to get a licence for a cessna skyhawk?
and how much does a new one cost?
I soloed, and got a "student" ticket in less than 2 weeks of lessons after school.
