Yes, the cessna152 is a better aircraft to learn in. Assistances and cheats like a G100 are not good things to train in because, im opinion, the pilot’s skill level is compromised with systems of this sort. If I was you, screw the 152, get a cub or a citabria!

Woah… I fly in the C152 80% of the time, but we needed the C172 to seat an extra person and we went with the G1000.

ahhh, I am so happy …
ahhh, I am so happy I was trained in a citabria, this g100 isn’t doing anything for the people who are learning in them. Somewhere along, we’ve forgotten how to teach pilots how to do the most important things in flying; one of which is actually FLYING…..instead, we punch in codes and hit buttons even in TRAINING! If you are trained with an aircraft like this, you’re only as good as the aircraft and it’s G100. Next time, request a cub instead of this shitbox.
