@jaak33 Good point! I’ve flown these things a number of times and I must confess that I’m still rather apprehensive about going beyond the distance from an airport where I could still make it back on a glide. Even though I’m a skydiver, the average LSA strikes me as being just a bit too risky for my comfort.

This plane is powered by a Rotax 912 engine. In the operator’s manual for that engine it includes the following: ” …Aircraft equipped with this engine should only fly DAYLIGHT VFR conditions.”
How do you justify flying into IFR conditions when the engine manuall explicitly tells you not to do it???

Yes, the Rotax 912S is the certified engine (vs. the ULS), also used in the P2006T twin (not LSA, obviously).
