Cessna 150 short landing

How to land a Cessna 150 properly. Had about a 10kt headwind. I could have stopped a few feet shorter but I was in the right seat and the brake linkage was a bit mushy! I was able to make the first taxiway if you can call it that- not normally used for landing in this direction. If you listen when turning off the tower lady says “nice job!”
Kids- do not try this at home.

Hey Maverick, when i lived in Palmdale and the winds were blowing 50+ mph, we used take off, goto flaps 40, pull the power back and race to Rosamond airport several miles away backwards. I wouldn’t recommend that to you though For now, you should worry about just finishing your Private.

We used to do this exact same thing at CYKZ on RWY 33 back in flight school…..Nothing more fun then short landings in a C150……

did that once in a 60kt head wind. i actually hovered and landed like a helicopter right on the numbers and taxied off the same way. Probably not the smartest thing to do. Loved that 1975 150M
