   @JumpStartation OH IT”S THE SAME IN CANADA AS IT IS IN THE STATES?BECAUSE I KNOW IT’S 17 for PPL AND IR AND 16 to solo here in the U.S

   @ccr26 To get both your private pilots license and instrument rating you must be 17….assuming you can afford it. =P

    @pilotpk1 you must have 40 hrs and be 17 years of age to get a private pilots license. You must pass FAA exams also. You can solo at 16 years of age. Your instructor is the one who will see if you are ready to solo and the one that makes the decision. Happy flying!

    @calilove626 idk where you read that, but at CBF airport they let us do them all the time.

    @pilotpk1 it took 15hour until i soloed and then another 45 or so to get my license.

    Hey, im a student pilot, wiht 5 hours, i wanted to know how long it took you to get to this point, and how long it took you to get your private pilot license. Let me know…
