Every child is special and children are not little adults. Therefore, when a child is very ill with a potentially life-threatening illness or injury, he or she has special needs. The four-bed PICU at FMC can provide this unique care.

The Flagstaff snow-removal crews did a fantastic job clearing off the asphalt, after a week of storms (Jan. 18-23, 2010) dumped 54.2 inches (or about 1.38 meters) of snow and a little rain on the city. The sun came out periodically, and burned off whatever was left on the asphalt the plows couldn’t quite get, where it could shine. One early evening of rain helped, too, before it went back to snowing. Wednesday and Thursday, January 26-27, we are expecting another 4-6 inches (about 10-15cm), two clear days, and then more snow beginning Sunday the 30th into Monday, two more clear days, then more snow on Wednesday and Thursday…heh heh. This was the second biggest week of snow on record for Flagstaff, Arizona, with number one being 84.6 inches (about 2.15 meters) falling over Dec.13-20, 1967. We’ve had several businesses’ roofs crack, leak, and collapse, prompting the Fire Marshall to order businesses to shut down until roofs were cleared and approved safe. Anyway, this crappy footage was taken at Northern Arizona University, while I was on my way to work. The first part is outside the building where I clock in, Capital Assets (formerly known as Facilities Management), South Campus, with deadly icicles that were falling in chunks the weight of a grown person. Flying through New York – follow the Hudson

My wife and I flying up and down the Hudson through New York. Amazing! The aircraft is a Cessna 172 of the flight school ‘Florida Flyers’. Music is mindthings – Human Feelings Cameras are a GoPro HD for the videos, attached with a RAM mount to the wing strut as well as a Fuji S100SF and a Panasonic TZ7 for the still images.
