A trip to Sandfly

On a gorgeous sunday morning my friend and I took the opportunity to fly our Cessna 206 to a local Airport called Sandfly, about 20 miles east of Hobart on Tasmania. The landscape there is just fantastic, beautiful white beaches, great green meadows, convenient temperatures and small hills make this the perfect place to be for your next spring-vacation! Book a flight with us to one of the many airfields in the area and be sure to have one of the greatest vacation ever! 
The scenery I used was “AU Blue” by ORBX (FTX). This scenery combined with the 230 freeware airports by OZx makes this place and the video as stunning as you can find it here. I took off from Hobart airport (YMHB) and flew over the South Arm Peninsula on the outskirts of Hobart, and headed over to a town called Sandfly (near Kingston) where eventually the little airstrip would be! The aircraft I flew was the Cessna 206 Stationar with fixed gear (there is no retractable gear version) which was created by the developer team of Carenado. The C206 is really one of the most comfortable aircraft to fly in FSX if your going on a VFR “adventure” like I did when I created this video. It has a pretty broad range when it comes to velocity, you can either fly & slow, if you want to get a good look at the girls on the beach or high and fast – up to 140kts – if you want to get from one place to another quickly!
