FSX Emergency Carrier Landing w/ TrackIR 4

FSX mission with engine failure. Only safe place to put the Cessna Grand Caravan was on the deck of a USN Carrier… and they are not happy about it. Recorded with TrackIR 4.

haha actually if you approached a us navy warship withoutauthorization, you probly would have been deemed a threat and been shot down. its happened before.
They were pretty angry… Maybe you should’ve just ditched and let them send out a rescue team

if you did that in real life, they would take away your wings, you might even end up doing some jail time… if in our present day and age they don’t shoot you down first……

@124simran It is a hardware and software solution that allows your view within the simulator to be controlled by your head in 6 different directions. It immensely adds to the immersion factor.

where did you get this mission, builtin?
There’s a number of ways you can do this mission:
* Turn on the electric fuel pump as soon as you get a `low fuel pressure` indication, and the engine doesnt quit.
* Turn on the electric fuel pump, restart the engine, and complete the flight normally
* Climb significantly higher, so that by the time you’re abeam the carrier (seems to be roughly the trigger point), you’re also within glide range of the airport
* Ditch alongside the carrier as per their instructions
* Land on the carrier

@taivo67 the unit tracks everything your head does. If you lean forward it moves the camera view point forward.
