Australian UFO – The disappearance of pilot Frederick Valentich (Unsolved Mysteries)

The Valentich disappearance describes an event on 21 October 1978 when 20-year-old Frederick Valentich disappeared in unknown circumstances while piloting a Cessna 182L light aircraft over Bass Strait, Australia. His intention was to land at King Island, pick up three or four friends there, and return to Moorabbin Airport. During the 127 mile (235 km) private flight, Valentich advised Melbourne air traffic control he was being accompanied by an aircraft about 1000 feet (300 m) above him. He described unusual actions and features of the aircraft, reported that his engine had begun running roughly, and finally reported before disappearing from radar that “That strange aircraft is hovering on top of me again. It is hovering and it’s not an aircraft”. No trace of Valentich or his aircraft was ever found, and a Department of Transport investigation concluded that the reason for the disappearance could not be determined. The report of a UFO sighting in Australia attracted significant press attention, in part due to the number of sightings reported by the public on that night

If any one would care for it, there are many alike incidents as this one, wherein an aircraft had been intercepted by an? unknown flying craft. One happenstance which I can recall off the top of my mind is the “Coyne” helicopter which took place within the USA, and which dealt with most trustworthy witnesses whose accounts were backed up by many witnesses also on the ground. I bet that just as with pilot Valentich, some kind of craft had hindered his way and carried him off to somewhere far away.

He was a drug smuggler? shot down by an enemy plane and he was hallucinating a strange light when in fact he was just high. no mystery here.
Well I think it’s arrogant to think we’re the only living things out there. And lets be honest, the guy vanished without even a trace. So yeah, what else could it have been? ?
I feel that this program made a mockery of? that travesty
Is it juts me or? is there 2 other images on the Photos that are much weirder than the Blotch? At 8:14 there seems to be a white dot in the upper left hand corner, then at 8:16 that dot has dropped down and to the right…
Not saying one thing or another, other than those 2 dots are much more Interesting than the Blotch.
Also that blotch looks like a parachute with one of those smoke things that trail behind the parachute…
